Smiling and Talking
Irina is almost 6 weeks old now, which means she has lots to smile and talk about! Take a listen, I think we (yet again!) have another talker on our hands.

First off, Elena got a new bed this week! She loves it, and was so excited when Grandma dropped it off. This bed used to be Anna’s, it used to sit right in between my and Erin’s beds! Lizzy repainted it for Elena, thanks Lizzy!
With a new bed comes the thrill of playing on it, so Elijah and Elena lost no time in getting right to it. They apparently were able to see all sorts of new things from the vantage point of the bed, looking out the window.
My favorite part is the end, with Elena. Do you think my children might have a flair for the dramatic??

Laughter is good medicine, and it is music to my ears to hear my kids laughing. Here they are, Elijah pretends to sleep, then Elena kicks him off the “bed”, after which Elijah yells “WHAT’S THE BIG IDEA?”, and laughter ensues.Enjoy.

Elijah was completely 100% on board with an egg hunt once he found out there was candy inside. It was all we could do to keep him inside until we were ready!
Easter Dance
Elena only got around to picking up one or two eggs in the hunt, because once she got them she was so fascinated by shaking them that all she wanted to do was shake them and twirl around.
Summertime! In Janurary…?
These videos were taken on January 30th. This is what my children do when there is any amount of sun out. Obviously that means it is swimming/get wet kind of weather!

This is how Elena is currently crawling. She does NOT want to lift her head off the ground! I am wondering if she keeps this up, will she have a nice bald spot of the top of her head?
She also does get up normally, on all fours, and lunges. Doesn’t like to crawl yet this way…
