Weekend Poll- Baby

Weekend Poll- Who does this remind you of?

June 18th, 2010

This weekend poll is a little different, please leave a comment with your answer.  Nick and I have been going back and forth as to which (extended) family member this awesome face Elena is making reminds us most of:

I have a very strong sense of who it is (but I won’t sway your answer), Nick agrees but also sees another family member. What do you think?

But really this poll is all just an excuse to post this picture because I think it is hilarious. I love this little girl!

Weekend Poll- Arizona Immigration Law

May 15th, 2010

Is this my first serious poll?  I think it might be!  This topic has been hitting the news a lot lately, and I am curious to see what my readers think.  Set to be enforced by July, this Law has caused many reactions.  Some people think it is the smartest thing they could have done, others are so mad they are boycotting Arizona.  What do you think?  And, please choose carefully- I would also like to know if you have read any of what the Law actually states.

Weekend Poll- Relaxation

May 8th, 2010

In honor of Mother’s Day weekend, the poll is about relaxation. Assume that you can spend your day of relaxation with whomever you choose, so make your choice based on activity.

Weekend Poll Answer

March 30th, 2010

The majority of you were right… with 31% of the vote, Elijah did in fact disassemble the baby gate in order to escape.  And this was actually disassembling, not just taking it down somehow.  We have a wooden gate in the hallway that I put up to keep the kids in the back bedrooms while I am showering or working back there, so I can hear what they are doing.  (Our house is quite large, they could go plenty of places where I wouldn’t be able to hear them at all).  One day, I got out of the shower to find that Elijah had somehow removed two of the wooden dowels and both kids had slipped through and went to play somewhere else in the house!  Not quite sure how he did it, but there you have it.
